The Filipino community in Edmonton welcomed the opening of Seafood City Supermarket last July 16 at 17540 100 Ave NW Edmonton AB T5 S2 52 Canada.

With a health crisis in our midst, Seafood City followed health and safety protocols. They implemented Q Waitlist system to follow maximum store capacity and to ensure everyone gets a chance to shop while practicing social distancing.

The store in Edmonton is the 4th branch of Seafood City to open in Canada. More than 60,000 Filipino-Canadians in Edmonton can now visit the store and feel at home as they shop for products and enjoy food long-missed from the Philippines.

As the leading Filipino supermarket in the US, Seafood City offers authentic Filipino food and staple grocery products, snacks, fresh produce, plus an incredible array of fish and seafood selection. There are also a variety of hard-to-find fruits and vegetables that Filipino-Canadians have been yearning for, they can now find it at Seafood City.

Their food services offer well-loved, authentic and classic Filipino cuisine. There’s Grill City with its delicious selection of grilled meat and seafood favorites, including the best-seller, Filipino-style barbecue. Noodle Street offers a wide choice of soup-based and dry noodle meals with great side dishes like siopao and siomai. For those looking for hot and crispy Filipino favorites like lechon, chicharon, fried meat and snacks, the place to go to is Crispy Town. They all offer comfort food that recall memories of home.

As with all the communities they serve, Seafood City expects to become Edmonton’s town hall or “tambayan” for Fil-Canadians in Edmonton and surrounding cities, spreading their flagship philosophy of “True Filipino Goodness” across North America. Seafood City Edmonton is your new home away from home, they hope you can come and visit soon.
