The store officially opened on December 14, 2023 a wonderful Christmas gift to the Filipino-American community in Houston. With more than 28,000 Filipino-Americans residing in Harris County and with over 230,000 kababayans calling Texas their home, it is only fitting to open a store where they can go to reconnect with the flavors and culture of the Philippines.
Seafood City is the biggest chain of Filipino supermarkets with over 30 branches across North America. It has the widest range of authentic Filipino food products, home essentials and services. And because it offers the convenience of a one-stop shop for everything Filipino, there is no need for shoppers to hop from one mom-and-pop store to another just to find the authentic Filipino products they need.
